Local 1014 Fund Awards Twenty $500 Scholarships

Each year since 1997, the Local 1014 Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships at the Local's March General Membership Meeting. On March 28, 2019, it happened again at the Local's meeting in the Camden County Emergency Training Center in Blackwood. The fundraising efforts of the Local 1014 Scholarship and Golf Tourament Committees came to fruition in the awarding of twenty $500 scholarships to the sons and daughters of Local 1014 members. Since the establishment of the fund, over $228,000 in scholarships has been awarded. For the past twenty years, each eligible applicant has received a scholarship. Thank you to all those who contributed over the past year. Your thoughtfulness made the dreams of twenty young students closer to reality. Thank you to the students and their parents for coming out to our meeting. Those that do the fundraising work love to see the recipients of their efforts.
