Gloucester Township Public Works Unit Elects Two New Trustees

In the only contested positions in Local 1014's Board of Trustees election on October 23, Joe Norman and Joe Calce scored a victory over incumbent Mike Tacconelli for the two trustee positions for the Gloucester Township Public Works Unit. The other incumbent trustee, Domenic Martino, declined to run for reelection due to family issues. The new Board members will serve two-year terms and will be up for reelection in 2020. 

The Local 1014 Board of Trustees governs and sets the policies of the Local, has authority to retain legal counsel and is the unresolved appeal body for the Local. The Board also oversees the Local's finances and approves all litigation expenditures.
