2018 Henry J. Dunn Tournament Earns Over $13,000 for Scholarship Fund
Thanks to broad participation by Local 1014 members and the local community and the hard work of the organizing committee, this year’s Dunn Golf Tournament earned a profit of $13,312 for the Local’s scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded annually in March to graduating high school senior who are the sons or daughters of Local 1014 members. Last March, the Local 1014 Scholarship Fund awarded eighteen $500 scholarships. Since its inception in 1997, the Fund has awarded over $227,000 in scholarships.
The tournament, held annually in September, is the primary fundraiser for the Scholarship Fund. This year’s event was held at the Pennsauken Country Club on September 20. (Additional photos from the event)
