The 2017 Henry J. Dunn III Scholarship Golf Tournament, held on September 21, 2017 at the Pennsauken Country Club in Pennsauken, NJ, raised $10,056 for the union’s scholarship fund.  The tournament is the primary source of revenue for the Local’s Scholarship Fund.  The tournament is named after former President Henry J. Dunn III, who passed away in 2001. The event includes both the golf tournament and a dinner/auction.

The golf tournament is the primary fundraiser for the Scholarship Fund. Earlier in 2017, the Fund awarded eighteen $500 scholarships. Since it was established in 1996 to assist the sons and daughters of Local 1014 members in furthering their education, the fund has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships.
